Basic Summary
The Infinite Sea is the continuation of the fight for survival....which now is in the hands of mere kids. What are the aliens planning? Why go through all these waves when there's a simplier answer? What is REALLY going on? In-Depth Summary How do you rid the Earth of seven billion humans? Rid the humans of their humanity. Surviving the first four waves was nearly impossible. Now Cassie Sullivan finds herself in a new world, a world in which the fundamental trust that binds us together is gone. As the 5th Wave rolls across the landscape, Cassie, Ben, and Ringer are forced to confront the Others’ ultimate goal: the extermination of the human race. Cassie and her friends haven’t seen the depths to which the Others will sink, nor have the Others seen the heights to which humanity will rise, in the ultimate battle between life and death, hope and despair, love and hate. My Review I enjoyed this book much, much better then the first one. The Infinite Sea really threw me for a loop and now I'm dying to get the third and final book. The only downside to the book is that it switches the point of views several times throughout the book. I typically don't enjoy that, but in this book I think the author uses it very well...just not my favorite tactic. You'll definitely love the moral and ethical dillemas.
